Our Courses

New York State Approved

Our training courses allow clinicians to learn at their own pace while gaining meaningful knowledge. Our courses are developed by clinicians with over 20 years of experience in the field. As clinicians we all play the role of gatekeeper to maintain the integrity of our profession. Lighthouse is rooted in the philosophy that every therapist should have a safe space to learn and grow. We are paying it forward, with the courses we’ve developed, we believe in creating competent clinicians that will exude excellence. “Each one teaches one!”

The Education Law and Commissioner's Regulations allow a LMHC to complete no more than one-third of the required hours as self-study in each registration period. This translate to a limit of 12 hours for a typical 36-month registration period. Course that are offered online and allow learners to ask questions in real time and interact with the instructor and other learners are not considered self-study and, therefore, are not restricted. With that said, we have our Lighthouse Sailors community forum to provide additional engagement with instructors and other students.
