FAQ

  • What are continuing Education Credits?

Continuing education (CE) is the education mental health professionals receive after obtaining their academic degree and professional license. As psychology is a dynamic field, research and best practices often change over time. Most states require you complete a certain amount of CE credits before you can apply for re-licensure.

  • Will I receive a certificate at the end of this course?

Yes. You will. The certificate will indicate the number of course hours you completed.

  • Is there a time limit for the courses?

There is no time limit, the exam is self-paced learning. However, when taking the online exam, the system will time you out after 10 minutes, so make sure to save your exam (button at the bottom of the exam) if you are going to go over that amount of time. We always suggest printing the exam and completing the hard copy as you read the course material and then transfer your answers to the online exam when you are finished. If you had not saved the exam and your computer timed you out, you may have to re-transfer your answers from your hard copy to the online exam.

  • Can I cancel a course?

Yes, you can cancel for a full refund (minus 3% processing fee) 72 hours prior to the training for Live & Interactive Webinars ONLY. If you cancel within 72 hours of the training, you may be able to receive credit for an upcoming course (at the owner’s discretion). For ONLINE training modules, cancellations of purchase are not allowed once the purchaser has been sent the course access information regardless of whether or not the course has been accessed.

  • Do you have to have a license to take a course?

No. CE Training Workshops’ continuing education events are best suited towards behavioral health clinicians, licensed or unlicensed. Participants do not need to be licensed to attend.

  • Do you offer particle credit?

No, we do not issue partial CE credits and therefore if you do not attend the training in its entirety, you will not be receiving a CE certificate. This is an approving board(s) requirement and is non-negotiable.
